I just got back from fulfilling all of the educational requirements from the CIPS institute, a series of classes including investment and financial analysis, how to work with international properties and clients in Asia, Europe, and Americas.  A two day course on international markets was prerequisite in order to take the CIPS Institute.  Please see http://www.realtor.org/international for more info.  If you were on the cruise and need the application for the CIPS designation download here.

If you have an opportunity to go on the CIPS Institute cruise next year I highly recommend you do it.  It was an exceptionally rewarding experience to learn more about international real estate, make some great friends, and kick back and enjoy some time in the sun.
