Meeting planners and professional speakers can simplify the processes in order work together effectively to coordinate logistics, download resources, and access information that will serve the audience needs in multiple ways. With a little time and experimentation I was able to add marketing videos, interactive Facebook page, access to all 90 of my PowerPoint presentations. an online assistant to confirm future events, let all audience members when/where I will be visiting in the future, and access to my handouts from past and future programs.

Choosing the right online applications, tools, and developing the skill sets for a beginner can be a challenge. The ones I will share with you cost little, increase return on investment, and can save you time communication your value proposition for your target audience.

I created this widget using HootSuite by adding a stream for the keyword search “@DougDevitre” so you can see what others are tweeting about me which is better than me tweeting about myself and how others are engaged with me.

If you want to schedule an event it is really easy to find out available dates on my calendar, hold and secure them before they are reserved, and complete an event questionnaire my online assistant makes it a breeze. The information is synchronized with my computer, iPhone, and can make changes on the fly using an online office key. This assistant can be plugged into any website, blog, or meeting planner website if you want me to give you the code from eSpeakers.

I’ve had many people ask me “Doug, will you please let me know when you are coming back” because they enjoyed the presentation enough to want to attend again the next time I’m in town. Also, many clients have asked the the same thing because they can piggyback off of other dates to save on travel expenses.

Here you can see what see city I will be in that automatically is updated when you hold and confirm an event. This entitles you to first right if multiple requests come in at the same time.

Meeting planners will say, “Doug can you give me a list of your programs to select from?” and I’ll ask these 4 questions.

  1. How long is program?
  2. Do you need CE approval?
  3. Is the audience real estate professionals , brokers, association staff and leadership, or instructor/professional speakers?
  4. What is the budget?

The content for each program evolves with the changes in innovation, processes, new resources and specific examples that audience members will be able to relate to based on geographic location, specialized niche, local and state regulations, and proven examples of how the technology is used in their business.

Handouts, Templates, and Scripts – Cost FREE

Handouts can be downloaded from the site which is synchronized with a file folder online. If I update new versions of the handouts online they will appear in this box. This way meeting planners and attendees can download whatever they like, whenever they like.

A Challenge: Some of these widgets do not appear on mobile phones
You will need to access them from a desktop or laptop computer because some widgets and plugins are displayed in Flash which will not play on most popular web browsers on phones.

  1. Individual YouTube videos, downloads played by online mobile media players will display, the custom YouTube player will not display on the phone.
  2. Individual documents can be downloaded on to the phones however the widget will not display on the phone.
  3. Individual Slideshare presentations, downloads can be displayed on the phones, the Presentation Pack will not.
  4. eSpeakers services will not display on mobile devices.
