Long Island Board of REALTORS® Education Conference 2010I had a great time connecting with some old friends and making new ones at the Long Island Board of REALTORS® Education Conference.  This year marks LIBOR’s 100 year anniversary and at their annual education event they pull out all the big guns.

It was great to see my mentor Terry Watson since he was speaking and we had a chance to catch up, share some ideas, and stories from the road.

Also, the sponsor for my monthly webinars Dean Hartman also was the premier sponsor for this event.  He is doing some great things to offer value to REALTORS® to help them become more profitable, enhance education, and build relationships with the community.

Check out some of the past webinars Dean Hartman has sponsored in the past.

Also, congrats to Kate Koplinka with Coldwell Banker M&D Goodlife, National Association of REALTORS® 30 under 30 award winner and for starting Long Island’s first Young Professional Network Chapter.

I did two sessions during this event.  One was geared towards agents and the other for broker/managers.  Since there was so much information to cover we hit on some of the highlights of why to use social media, some tools everyone can use, and additional resources to follow up with.
